Practice & Connection

The Ovens Murray Practice & Connection Initiatives are open to all practitioners working in Child and Family Services, Family Violence, AoD, Mental Health, Housing, Education, Disability or any other Ovens Murray Community Service Sector.

Each Practice & Connection initiative is designed to provide information to practitioners to build their knowledge, skills and practice around particular topics, while providing opportunities to identify and enhance collaboration between practitioners and organisations across the service sector.

OVENS MURRAY COMMUNITY SERVICES STRONGER TOGETHER SYMPOSIUM, JUNE 2024

Summary:

Ovens Murray Community Service Sectors come together to strengthen service responses to children young people, adults and families across Ovens Murray

Over 270 community service leaders and practitioners came together to focus on stronger collaboration and better outcomes for children, young people, and families across Ovens Murray, gave rise to a day of great connection and important conversations.

The Ovens Murray Community Services network Alliances’ and Partnerships including: The Child and Family Services Alliance, Family Violence Partnership, Homelessness Network, Mental Health Alcohol Drug Alliance, Albury Wodonga Family Law Pathways Network and Children’s Resource Coordinator, worked together to present the Symposium, and the event was supported by the Victorian Government.
