Across Australia there are growing numbers of programs and services offering dedicated program support for young people using violence against their parents, carers and/or siblings. Despite each state and territory operating in slightly different legislative and service delivery contexts, there are many commonalities in our practice approaches.
In this session we speak with professionals from dedicated service programs in South Australia, Queensland, and Tasmania who will describe the theory of their program design and what they’ve learned along the way as they’ve been implementing the program. We want to kickstart a national conversation about how we respond to this cohort of young people.
