Which is one of most popular groups and is aimed at parents and carers of children between the ages of 1-12 years, who would like to support to help their children to build secure relationships, which can have positive lasting impacts on the lives of children. After learning how to have this conversation around building secure relationships with children, Talking with children about family violence and separation aims to give you tools on how to talk to children about family violence and separation in an informed way.

This group runs twice a year and will be starting for Term 3 on 8th May, 2025 – every Thursday for 8 weeks.

Connect, Heal and Support Group – Term 3 2025

Is a very safe and supportive group for those women and girls who are Childhood Sexual Assault survivors. This groups runs over 10 weeks, and then once the group is finished there is another group which runs weekly, purely as a support group, where you can come together and support one another on this healing journey. As one client said after completing this group “this group helped to feel safe to feel and heal”. If this group is for you or someone you know please call us to book your place as this will run again early next year as it is only run twice a year.

Self Esteem & Self Compassion

Group runs twice a year, and will be running in Term 3 for 8 weeks beginning Wednesday 30th July, 2025. This group is about learning how to nurture yourself as well as being able to be compassionate towards yourself and gain more confidence in a safe and gentle space.

The Shark Cage

Is also one of our most popular groups and has run every term now for the past 3 years. This group is for women and girls who have had more than one experience of abuse in their lives and want to find ways of being free of patterns of repeated violence or other abuse.

Pre-program interviews will be held on the week before the group begins. Please call to book your place now on (02) 60215773 for Term 2 2025, as this group fills up quite fast.

The Shark Cage will run over 8 weeks in Term 2 every Tuesday morning starting on 7th May, 2025. A quote from one of clients who recently completed this course about what she found most valuable about this group – “Having confidence in my journey, learning to value myself and what I believe in.”
