Playgroup Victoria Conference

We are thrilled to be celebrating 50 years of Playgroup Victoria at our Conference on November 20th and 21st .
Our conference theme, Generations of Play, aims to ensure delegates can take away new and reinforced understanding of the role playgroup can play in ensuring children and families thrive in the early years. The Conference program will delve into the strong and growing evidence of the benefit of playgroup for:
- Children’s learning and development,
- Strengthening the wellbeing, confidence and skills of families and carers,
- Building inclusive communities and
- Connecting families to support
The conference will be opened by The Hon. Lizzie Blandthorn MP (Minister for Children and Minister for Disability)
Our Keynote Speakers are;
- Marc Armitage – Playwork Consultant
- Cat Sewell Artistic Director and CoCEO Polyglot Theatre and
- Dr Prabhat Rai– Conceptual PlayLab Researcher, Monash University
Our Panel Discussion – The Evolution of Community Connections will be facilitated by our Patron Professor Emeritus Dorothy Scott AOM
