This practical training focuses on the implementation of all five trauma-informed principles and builds on the Foundations in Trauma Awareness. This program looks at practical skills to create a safe base to work from and to understand signs of potential trauma and apply the foundational knowledge of complex trauma to your work.
Who should attend?
This training program is not clinically focused and will suit those who provide services to people who have experienced trauma. It is applicable to diverse sectors including, but not limited to, health, mental health, alcohol and other drugs services, community, legal, justice, domestic and family violence, child protection, emergency, disability, housing, settlement, and employment services.
