DESCRIPTION:A forum launching findings from two major studies of LGBTQ+ alcohol and other drug use\nJoin the ARCSHS team for a forum launching briefing papers and practice guides from two major studies\, QSOX and Futures of Substance. \nTuesday 30 September\n1pm-5pm\nThorne Harbour Health (200 Hoddle St Abbotsford) or online via Zoom\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAlcohol and other drug use among LGBTQ+ communities is a significant issue\, yet clinicians and services often struggle to fully understand its social and cultural dimensions. \nTo help address this gap\, ARCSHS is hosting a half-day event to present recent findings from two research projects examining LGBTQ+ people’s experiences of substance use\, problem recognition\, and engagement with support services. \nThe event will bring together researchers\, clinicians\, community organisations\, and service providers to:\n\nShare evidence-based insights from qualitative research with LGBTQ+ communities;\nDiscuss practical implications for culturally responsive and identity-affirming care;\nCreate opportunities for dialogue between researchers and those working on the frontline.\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister now
