Overcoming barriers and simplifying support for people with complex needs \nThe Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) and ermha365 (Mental Health Disability Complex Service) are hosting the Complex Needs Conference 2025\, funded by the Department of Families\, Fairness and Housing. \nThe conference will provide a platform to share ideas\, forge partnerships and develop new approaches to supporting people with complex needs. Whether you are a practitioner\, researcher\, policy maker or someone with lived experience\, we are united by a shared goal. \nJoin us across the 2 days to explore: \n\nBridging gaps in community safety and service provision\nEnhancing mental health and housing outcomes\nOvercoming stigma and the power of transformative relationships with providers\nBarriers to accessing support\nPersonal journeys to recovery\nThe important role of peer\, family and community support and advocacy\nCulturally relevant care; and\nFostering stronger community connections for people facing challenging times.\n\nTogether\, we can inspire\, inform and drive better practices to deliver coordinated care and improve the lives of people experiencing: \n\nMental health challenges\nHarmful substance use\nBehaviour that can lead to risk to self and others\nHomelessness\nTrauma; and\nDisability.\n\nYour participation is vital in driving change and enhancing support systems for those who need it most. \nThe Complex Needs Conference will take place from 26 – 27 March 2025 at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne. \nThe conference will provide a platform to share ideas\, forge partnerships and develop new approaches in the field. \nGet your ticket
