DESCRIPTION:In the next Australian National Research Agenda webinar\, Working with the Knowledge of Experts by Experience\, panellists will explore the importance of partnering with people with lived experience when designing\, funding\, conducting and translating research. \nJoin lived experience experts Lula Dembele\, Tess Moodie\, Ashlee Donohue and Nina who will: \n\nrecount their research journey\ndiscuss power dynamics and power imbalances in research\n\noutline how we can improve ways of working with the knowledge of experts by experience. \nThe importance of including people with lived experience in research \nProduced by ANROWS\, the Australian National Research Agenda to End Violence against Women and Children (ANRA) 2023– 2028 seeks to drive research and the ways that evidence is produced to be organised\, purposeful and effective. \nA research priority described in the research agenda is the need to work with the knowledge of experts by experience.
