We’ll go through our service offering including upcoming training\, and a guided walk through of our OPEN Portal. \nChildren Australia Journal Senior Editor Melissa Storey will join us to share tips on using existing evidence\, using your own evidence\, and sharing it through the journal. \nWe will invite our friends to share learnings from their own evidence journey and ask the audience to share their own learnings or ask questions to gain insights into the next steps for your own journey. \nThis forum will be a celebration of the progress of how far we’ve come as a sector\, with OPEN’s new offerings responding to the sector’s enthusiasm to embed evidence further and launch us into the next phase of our collective evidence journey. \nBook now

DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Orange Door Ovens Murray Area is hosting 30-minute online workshops each month in February to April 2024 to foster understanding of the role and functions of The Orange Door and referral pathways.\nThe workshops are designed for staff or volunteers in the Ovens Murray Area (LGAs of Alpine\, Benalla\, Indigo\, Mansfield\, Towong\, Wangaratta\, Wodonga) who will potentially refer clients to The Orange Door.The Orange Door provides free support for:\n• People experiencing family violence or who are at risk of family violence\n• People seeking assistance with child wellbeing and development\n• People seeking support to change their behaviour and stop using violenceThe Orange Door provides the following key functions:\n• Risk and needs assessment\n• Safety planning\n• Crisis intervention\n• Brokerage\n• Connection to support services \nContent is the same for each workshop – participants only need to attend one workshop.
