This new MARAM offering from Safe and Equal is suitable for all professionals who may identify family violence is occurring and who engage with people in a one-off\, episodic or ongoing service. This one-day training focuses on working with adults using family violence.\nDuring this training\, you will learn to identify indicators for a person likely to be using family violence by observation of common narratives and behaviours. You will also learn how to respond according to your roles and responsibilities and will be supported to use the Identification Tool. \nWho can attend?  \n\nAll professionals who may identify family violence is occurring and who engage with people in a one-off\, episodic or ongoing service\n\nAreas covered:  \nOn successful completion\, participants will be able to practice concepts related to working with adults using family violence\, including: \n\nApplying MARAM foundational knowledge and practice guidance to identification MARAM practice responsibilities\nIdentifying indicators for an adult likely to be using family violence by observation of common narratives and behaviours\, including denial\, minimisation\, justification\, and externalisation of responsibility for violence\nDeveloping understanding and confidence in safe engagement and appropriate questioning to support identifying family violence risk\nUnderstanding how and when to use the Identification Tool in practice\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister here
